Minor Miracle

Would you believe that our pear tree is flowering - it's September! Is it because I pruned it when we bought the Land, and have watered it? Wonder if they'll become pears...

Progress feels slow at the moment, and still no comeback on solar panels, without which we can't get our water. 

Rodrigo, our neighbour, sent round a man to see about finishing the olive trees with a chain saw - he can't believe Mike is "making" his wife do it with loppers... just might have to give in, but feels like defeat. 

Spent most of my time today scraping out the rotten wood in the window we were given, and re-building it with filler... the disadvantages of something old, I guess.
