More flamingos

Went to the garden centre with Norm today to get a new pot for my cactus. Had a coffee and a natter and gave him a photobook of our summer holiday. It was a bit silly and he loved it :-)

Been working on my hardanger embroidery for the rest of the afternoon - my eyes have started going funny so I might call it a day. It's coming on well but I've made a few mistakes with it. They look glaringly obvious to me but possibly won't to anyone else. I'm treating it as bit of a practice run - next time will make much more sense to me. It's taken a while but I think I understand what I'm doing it now!
