Aftermath #3

This is  shows the direction of the wind and the strength of it....  the entire root system was uprooted out of the ground.  It was one of several Oaks in a group, but it didn't stand a chance.  I also thought that this oak was a Water Oak, which grows straight up and has a shallower root system.  Live Oaks have a more branching canopy and a far deeper  tap root and root system underground.
