Look who's here!

What a frabjous day!  Friend Helen and I were off in her Berlingo to Manchester Airport early doors to collect NannaK and H arriving from Iceland, woo hoo!  We lunched at home and, after a brief downtime and much chat, drove over to Haworth to catch an hour or so at the Bronte Parsonage Museum.  My blip shows an extra bit of fun.  The Parsonage is creating a new handwritten manuscript of Wuthering Heights and is inviting visitors to the Museum to copy out a line.  NannaK got to add her line and her home city/country, which is already making interesting reading!

A wander down the cobbled main street of Haworth followed, surprisingly empty of tourists, and a cuppa back home, then we returned to Haworth to Embers Restaurant for dinner in the company of blippers Yorkshirebred and JeanneB53 with hubby C.  Much enjoyable conversation ensued and now the weary travellers have retired,  soon to be followed by us.

Tomorrow it's a Hockney Fest at Cartwright Hall and Salts Mill.  NannaK is charged with the task of educating me in art appreciation, tough job but someone has to do it!
