Wet

We've been really lucky with the weather this week, but today our luck ran out.  We knew we were in for some rain, so we set out from the cottage late and drove out to Aberffraw for lunch. We then drove to the church at Cwyfan which is on an island connected to land by a peninsula - the blip above.

The rain was forecast to let up, so we sat there in the car waiting for it to ease off.  Unfortunately it never did, so all we have are photos from a distance taken through the murk.

To rescue the day we drove through to Oriel Ynys Mon which was an indoor gallery, where we had a wander and afternoon tea.

We then drove to Asda in Llangefni and had a walk in a nature reserve alongside a river and disused railway line.  We spotted the heron in the extra which was fishing at a weir.  We did catch a glimpse of a red squirrel on the path, but there is no photographic evidence!

Back to the cottage to cook our dinner.  Home tomorrow. :-(
