Him and me both

The busiest day of the fortnight on paper and a couple of favours for a colleague meant that I didn't get much chance to pause today. After a full-on day yesterday, the end of this one felt like a long time coming round. We got there in the end. 

Home to Bailey after sitting in too much traffic and then doing a supermarket shop. He was quite pleased to see me initially but then needed a bit of a lie down on the stairs. Not that the penultimate step has replaced his current favourite of the spare duvet on the spare bed. To be fair, we're both a bit sleepy this Friday evening.
