Step one

This is a hand crafted cradle that was made for me by my Uncle Mike when I was just a toddler. He was only 14 years old when he made this! It's close to 50 years old and was passed down to siblings and my cousin and has now been returned to me for my granddaughter.
Needless to say it needed some sprucing up. So today I sanded it and primed it with paint in preparation for some artistic touches. My granddaughter's 2nd Birthday is coming shortly and I hope to have this a a matching rocking chair finished in time for the party. A follow up Blip will be coming soon.
