Torridon

The last of the pics from the weekend (if you missed them and want to see what great views we had go back from here for 5 pics in total).
As it was another lovely day we took the scenic route home with plenty of time to stop and admire the views.
The northern road from Applecross is a narrow switchback with steep hills and blind bends - I'm glad there weren't any of the big motorhomes. We passed where the run ended and the cycle began, stopped at the smokehouse and again here, not far past Sheildaig. The loch is Loch Torridon and the mountains Beinn Alligan, Beinn Dearg & Liathach - all make you work to climb them!
Once on to the main roads we made better progress and arrived home in time for tea and an evening meeting.
