Birthday Celebration

A great day with lots of family celebrating the (almost) 40th birthday of my younger daughter.  It's actually Fay's birthday on Monday but she chose to have a get together this weekend.  We are staying in an amazing barn conversion in the village of Tilney All Saints near Kings Lynn.  We arrived yesterday evening and this morning prepared for the party - balloons, bunting, glasses, wine.

The weather turned out sunny and we were out in the garden for a lot of the time. It was certainly easier to manage the obligatory group photo out of doors. This was great fun to do and we all had a lot of laughs.

The buffet and cakes were delicious, the wine, beer and prosecco flowed freely and we all had a fantastic time.
