Garden

I went up to the European Parliament office to for a talk and a Q & A session with MEP Alyn Smith. I wasn't expecting the sandwiches and coffee as well - bonus! He was very informative and answered all questions as well as he could in the circumstances. I can't say I came away feeling encouraged at all, but then we do not live in encouraging times.

Afterwards I found I had ten minutes to wait for the next no 35 at the Canongate Kirk, so popped into the garden at Dunbar's Close - or the Mushroom Garden as it was first introduced to me!
