Day #3

We opted for a stress free day on sunbeds on the beach, reading ...and people watching. Always fascinating.

We drive to local beaches but ended up at Larnaca, first having lunch as the day had started late and frappés were overdue. Then we landed...

It took a while to get to water deep enough for a swim but I enjoyed it and I had to keep an eye our for our beds so as to not to repeat the fiasco of yesterday! We spoke to a lady who had totally lost her husband and she'd been searching for ages. We'd watched her and asked if we could help. Later we saw they'd met up and there was lots of gesticulating etc!

We headed back to The Church of Saint Lazarus to see inside, only to find a wedding party having photos taken. So I joined the paparazzi and am sharing the big group photo here. There were some real fashionistas in the crowd! Whoa...!

We thought we'd stay local for dinner but it's a small village and one taverna had an evening wedding reception and the other was fully booked. We booked for tomorrow and came back for the car and drove to Kiti where we ate in a Chinese restaurant and had a good chat with our waiter.

Another good day...and posted on Sunday before dinner.
