Weasel

My attempt to get a spore print from yesterday's Wood Hedgehog fungus was something of a failure. I think there must have been a draught which disturbed the spores leaving me with nothing but a white smear. I'm trying again. In the meantime here is a dead weasel that the spaniel and I came across in the meadow on our rather grey and damp morning walk. It has no visible injuries so I wonder how it died and how it came to be in the meadow.
