The Three Witches, Glamis Castle

The first exhibit on the Macbeth sculpture walk amongst the Pinetum at Glamis. The castle is the childhood home of The Queen Mother. A grand tower house, with several extensions over the centuries.

Our first visit here. A beautiful castle, and gardens. Much enjoyed the Italian and Walled Gardens. There is also a temporary exhibition of the Coronation Robes worn in 1937 by The Queen, and Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret at the Coronation of George VI (see extras). In fact HM made a private visit last week, to view them again.

Worth taking a castle tour also. Beautiful rooms, ceilings, fireplaces, a private chapel, and numerous ghosts.
