GlenDevon

About 14 years ago we planted some saplings up here, as part of the Woodland Trust forest regeneration program in the Ochils. Everything looked like the foreground, tough tussock grass and reeds.
Today we had a walk through a burgeoning wood, courtesy of the Trust, again. Despite the gloomy sky, we weren't rained on, and it was the usual tonic that trees always bring. A good feed afterward at a local hotel, too.
And a quiet feeling of satisfaction, even if only 30 of the million trees were down to us!
