Parrot Lily

This is such an unusual and delicate alstroemeria. Alstroemeria psittacina.
I just love the colours.
It photographs beautifully, but is quite small and dainty,and gets lost in the border, so I think I may dig it up and put it in a pot for next year.

A day of two halves.
Woke to heavy rain, and then by lunch time the sun came out.
Nothing like yesterday though. We picked the best day for our trip out.
