Contrasts

Accompanied MrM on his 'squirrel duties' early this evening and we went on to walk by Fowberry Mains with Louie. It was bright and sunny when we first arrived, with some fabulous views from the track. By the time we reached the top of the track (and it took a while, as Louie is very slow these days) with a view of Hedgehope Hill and the Cheviot, the light was fading, heavy cloud had come across, and the hills looked quite brooding (extra).

Later in the evening, when MrM was busy in the workshop, I turned in to a domestic goddess for an hour and baked a cake - lemon drizzle. It's MrM's favourite and it's his birthday tomorrow...
