Cooling in the tin

A day that didn't go at all quite as planned!

An unscheduled trip to the surgery. Surprise trip in to Berwick with MrM. Nice catch-up with Andrea. Cake making in the evening (while MrM is out, playing a jazz gig), ready for MrM's birthday tomorrow. Lemon drizzle - his favourite - still cooling in the tin, lemon zest and demerara sugar glistening.
