One dies...

... and another one takes its place.
A few days ago I chopped the stem off the right hand one while there was still ONE valid flower; I've heard, and experienced, that this sometimes inspires a flowering "Sideshoot" from the same stem.
Yesterday I discovered I needn't have bothered as it looks like there's another flower spike en route anyway. WaHEY!
The left hand one still in full flower and the centre has one "lookatable" flower.
Note to self:-
Waste of time #ing Orchid number X, coz unless you remember WHICH one you're looking for a search will miss EVERY numbered Orchid
