First Flower

Six months ago we planted eight "Wilderness White" callistemons along the outside of our courtyard fence.  They seem to be thriving and today I spotted our first bloom.  The plants are only eighteen inches high at the moment but will grow to the full hight of the fence making a lovely soft screen. Most of the Callistemon in the village are red but I like the softness and summeriness of these lovely white natives.
Thanks again to all my Blip friends who respond to my postings despite me being "off air" at the moment.
