Please Love Me!

Well, the expectation of more grandchildren has well an truly passed, but this new addition to the clan is quite special.  This is Billie, an eight week old Golden Labrador.  Our family, and now our son's family, seem devoted to this breed, the last of which, named Honey, we shared with our son and his family on the farm for fifteen years.   Sadly, she finally succumbed to old age.  Then there was the big move for all of us from the farm to the town and it is only now that our son and his family felt ready to replace their beloved girl.
We visited Billie on her arrival home today and have fallen completely in love with her. We know well the pleasure she will bring to us and nearly cried when we cuddled this soft plump ball of promising mischief.
It will be my only Blip of her, but I just couldn't resist this shot of her saying "Please love me".
She lives quite close to the river so is assured of lots of walks through the bush and many family members willing to take her.  We will watch and enjoy with interest.
