Mallorca - Day 4...

Much like last year, we got up before dawn to go and see the sunrise. Kirk brought his drone so we figured it would be rude not to. What was rude was the very early start and the distinct lack of coffee until about 10am by which point we were all a bit tetchy and decided we were addicts!

It was indeed worth the early start though. This was taken at the top of Sa Calobra... I might try and sell the camera version to Mercedes.

Everyone made the climb but we unfortunately had a casualty on the descent back into Soller so we were very glad to have our very own A&E Consultant from the RIE along with us as well as our local paramedic Christine on hand to get our boy to hospital. Battered and bruised and most likely a dented ego but also with the fastest time up Sa Calobra so I'm sure it'll be a bittersweet memory for him in the future.

Our afternoon boat trip took everyone else round to the restaurant where we had much paella and wine and an interesting chat from Colin Charvis about his rugby days before depositing us back to Puerto de Soller for some well deserved G&Ts.

Christine and I caved at half ten and called it a night. Apparently the latest cave was 3am so I imagine there will be some sore heads and bums tomorrow!
