Traditional handicraft

I went with T. to an open Museum in Lindenfels, that showed traditional handicraft in their rooms.
It was a great event for the kids. They could try a lot of different things.
We watched a blacksmith producing a nail (see extras).
T. was happy that the nail was donated to her :-)
She immediately transformed in a sort of Pinocchio :-P
T.'s great-great-grandfather (known as the "Schmied von Windorf" ) was a smith, too. So, for me it is always special to watch a smith at work.
Later she was allowed to work with an ancient weaving loom. She did a great job, instructed by a very kind old lady in a traditional costume.
There was so much more to discover, but we had to pick up J. and M. who made a nice hicking tour in the meanwhile.
We will be back next year for sure! :-))

Thanks so much for all your heart, stars and comments for my yesterdays crazy Hanulli blip. The Hanullis are excited and so am I :-))
