A posy of roses

We dug up these little shrub roses today with the intention of digging over the ground and enriching the soil before replanting later in the week. First I had to prune them and then my husband dug the plants up. The plants look quite stunted so I am hopeful my plan will work. I picked a bunch of the roses before pruning them.
