Striding out past the primary school

on the way to Marrakesh but we won't be there for another day.  The women here near the Todra Gorge wear different clothes - beautiful transparent and sometimes twinkly shawls tied over the shoulder - they don't cover their faces but if they see a camera they quickly put up a hand or take a piece of the shawl in their teeth to cover their face (more in the extra through the bus window).  The primary schools have to have their walls painted bright colours - see extra and  in the arid areas C14 wells were dotted over the landscape - joined by passages so the water could travel between areas.  The latter picture shows one of many wells in the same area
