Swanning around

I was lying down on the edge of the towpath to take a pic of an approaching swan. Except that by the time I got organised it had swum past into the shade. So here is the canal without its local swan. Its the best I can offer for today.

Following yesterday's Pie and mash experience it was off to a different caff for a bacon and egg roll. It was only 10p more than toast and jam so I decided to splash out. In these times of austerity you have to be careful.
