Autumn! Where?

Not here! While bracken and thistles are drying to prickly dust and rosehips swell on the hedgerows, the butterflies were out in number in today's sunshine, not even put off by the wind. Saw oodles of Red Admirals as well as one Comma and one Speckled Wood. Honeysuckle, Vetch, Herb Robert and Dandelions were all still in flower on the roadside banks, too, though the blackberries are all finished.
