Crêpes

Our house guests, John and Karen, arrived yesterday in the rain and left after lunch today in glorious sunshine. Owners of a château and estate in western France, not far from Bordeaux, they played host to us two years ago when I was researching the final Enzo book, "Cast Iron". Their home became Château Gandolfo in the book, and John's encyclopaedic knowledge of the area provided me with useful reference points for the background to my story. So dinner chez nous on Tuesday night and lunch today was my way of saying thank you - along with a sackful of signed books. It didn't take Karen long to tuck into her crêpe at our local crêperie!
