Nights are drawing in

Well, enough to catch me out.  An emergency blip using flash.  A form of Clematis orientalis, it's silky seed heads reflecting the light.

A decent sort of day despite the lack of sun and a chill wind.  With a new control panel fitted early this morning, the washing machine was put through it's paces a couple of times.  The oven also did the double with bolognese and cottage pie in at the same time.  Some meals to go in the freezer.  Jamie had a helpful GP appointment and an old friend from the local riding stables came for tea and an evening of fun.
