Just the right moment

Schizostylis caught in a shaft of morning sunlight.  

These are self sown seedlings flowering for the first time.  It''s a great end of season plant, bright flowers just when we need cheering up.  Also as it's quite capable of looking after itself here, it's a good one for the careless gardener :-)

Managed to fit quite a bit into a somewhat truncated day after a disturbed night.  Quite a few ticks on the list and pleased to have sorted car insurance and filed a claim for carers allowance.  Also got some exercise cutting the lawns at the in-laws.  I took 20 minutes off the previous record time.
