Beauty is all around us.

By Grace55

A beautiful rose from St. Charles' church garden.

I love this rose. It has shown resilience in the wind and rain. It is a sign of hope in adversity.
It grows in a narrow church garden and largely looks after itself, yet products great roses. I always thank God for the beauty all around us, as it is very heavenly in an otherwise Earthly place, where poverty, old age, run down housing and not much really seems to happen. Yet Rishton is a kind, caring very connected community where there are strong faith groups, a library that fought hard to survive, and a Post Office in our small village without a bank. The People's Centre is a great venue for a chat and a brew if you enjoy socialising. I am more likely to stand on a street corner and chat.
Hoping this gorgeous sunny spell lasts a few days.
We have many hairdressers, and grocery shops.
My collage today is on my other site www.365project.org. I am Grace55 there as well.
