Kirkwall

I went into a shop/gallery/venue/eh I think that's it called The Old Library which is a new conversion from- the old library! It's been lying empty for some time but a local developer (not my favourite profession) has made an amazing job of this. It has a record shop, exhibition space with it's own shop and a cafe/bar/venue. I hope it's a success. You'd be hard put to find better in many larger Scottish towns or cities. Nearby, I liked this juxtaposition.
