Dragon Bridge, Da Nang

Today we flew from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang in the central area of Vietnam. From there we were taken by coach to Hoi An where we are based for the next 3 days.

This is the rainy season in this area with the potential for very heavy flooding so we are perhaps fortunate that there has been no sign of rain yet. It is very hot though.

Today's picture was taken in Da Nang as we stopped here before lunch. The dragon bridge was completed in 2013 and apparently it blows fire in the evening at weekends.

The extra is a scene in Hoi An.

Thank you for the comments, stars and hearts I really appreciate you all taking the time to look.

In answer to the questions about yesterday's fish. Yes we ate it and it was very tasty. The waitress skilfully took it apart and wrapped it in rice paper with rice and vegetables.

I also had some snake and scorpion wine yesterday. I had previously tried snake wine in China but this wasn't as harsh so it looks like a dash of scorpion can improve your wine.
