The fort

We had a play date at a friend's house today. There was a fort which was very exciting! The girls had a picnic in the fort amidst a lot of giggling. Ash tried to invade the fort a few times, for the sandwiches I think.

Cleo is still talking about April and Gus, she was talking about Gus' glasses today and how he has glasses just like daddy. I am always amazed by what she picks up on and remembers, and how much she gleans from the shows she watches when I don't even realise she's paying attention. Her brain must be working at an impressive pace while mine seems to have slowed down dramatically. And such is the life of a parent I suppose.
