A Day Worth Recording

Roofed With Onions

A day wandering semi-aimlessly around Brighton, initially around the town in overcast weather and found the Pavilion - not quite as obvious as we'd expected but definitely as weird.

Found that the hackneyed view of the pavilion, reflected in the lake reminiscent of the Taj Mahal, was in fact a reflection in a pond about the size of a small double bed!  However, one has to take that photo so it's in the extras.

In the increasingly sunny afternoon we set off walking along the front, finding the electric railway was closed for refurbishment so kept walking.  Several miles and lots of unexpected white cliffs later we found an ice cream and coffee and walked back along the top.  Slightly sunburnt.

Excellent meal at the Ginger Pig in Hove in the evening, walking there along the front in the opposite direction and enjoying the sunset.
