Canalside walk

While the children went to a party, B., Mrs TT and I went for a long walk along the towpath to Altringham.  There was a lot of activity on the canal, mostly rowers but some narrowboats as well.  We had coffee and a piece of quiche at the busy market (see extra) before returning home to find the lock was broken on the door.  It required a shoulder barge to gain access and fortunately the only thing damaged was the lock itself which obviously needed replacing anyway.
