Mono Monday - Still Life

Today's Mono Monday theme is Still Life - thanks to JDO for hosting. I thought I'd do a twist on the normal still life photo of lovely fruit in a bowl and have a photo of some fallen pears rotting beneath the pear tree as a metaphor for the state of the world today.............oh, ok - it was just quick and easy to take!

Battled with a door and window replacement company today and with BT shop - difficult to say which was worse! Why do companies seem to think they're doing you a favour supplying you with goods / services (or not)??? I'm sure shopping didn't use to be this painful (although I did also buy two CDs from Amazon which was a delight as I could download and play them straight away too).
