Marbled Orb Weaver Spider

Well, that's what it appears to be using various web sites to help identify it.

I've certainly never seen one before but clearing some of the willow saplings which grow in the wild flower field where I work on Mondays this bright yellow little lady was crawling around wondering where her local town had just gone.
I apologised and moved her to the hedgerow before continuing.

At the end of the day visited a lovely person for a cuppa and dog walk then discovered that I make a comfortable pillow for tired dogs!!
