Tiny parachutes

Tidying up my balcony garden, I was interested to see the seeds produced by my Gaillardia flowers. They remind me so much of fluffy dandelion seeds. I scooped some gently up and saw how beautiful they were.

So as a change from autumn leaves shots, I thought this one of seeds,  appropriate for the season in this part of the world, would give us something else to enjoy as part of Nature's cleverness in keeping our plants blooming and re-blooming the following year.
