Autumn steps to nowhere

These steps on the Water of Leith in Dean Village lead to nowhere - but make a nice blip.

I spent (even) more time in the kitchen today, first transforming last night's left-overs into two batches of soup: one green, the other orange. We also had the remains of the chicken stew for dinner with spinach - delicious! As well as cooking, I wrote a couple of blog entries, one of which went live this afternoon.

Mr hazelh and I took a 1.5 hour tour of the cycle paths just after lunch. We had intended to stay out longer, but I had an attack of the sniffles so we limited our ambition on this occasion.

Exercise today: 1.5 hour cycle ride. Xi.
