Pampas Grass

Sadly the pampas grass in our garden stopped growing some years ago, with rather few of the lovely plumes and less and less growth each year.  In the end we had to dig it up. 

Unlike this lovely example in the pleasant grounds of West Lodge Park hotel in Hertfordshire.
