That's me for the winter then

I've been watching a very active late group of Large White caterpillars on a clump of garlic mustard at the nature reserve. I haven't seen them for the last few days and today I found a couple of pupae at the top of a nearby wall, under a protective overhang - a perfect place for them to spend the next 8 months. I shall probably envy them when winter kicks in properly.
