Nice long walk up here with the dogs then back through the woods.

Well part two of The Rant.  Paula went to see the nurse at 8am this morning, he decided to take a swab of the wound, then said he couldn't suggest  antibiotics he would have to refer it to another nurse, who didn't start till 9am and she would give Paula a ring. he did dress the wound and gave her some pads for it.  The nurse rang when we were in Tesco shopping and after asking questions (how can you come to a decision when you can't see the wound?) she decided to suggest to the doctor strong antibiotics. So Paula asked her if she would leave the prescription at the reception for her because if it went to the chemist electronically as they usually do then it is 4 working days before you can pick them up. The woman agreed she could pick it up this afternoon. Paula goes round this afternoon only to find there was no receptionist in fact no surgeries because it was training day. Now with the amount of training days they have (at least one a month) you would think that their nurses would know there would be no one there wouldn't you. Grrr  here endeth the rant.
