Soothing Purple Tones

These Asters provide a super Autumn splash of colour. And it's a colour that's calming and soothing. Just what I need.

Scouts went well tonight. I ran a human board game based on Game of Life. I called it Game of Scouts. They first had to read a list of Scouting activities and decide if they'd be positive or negative moves and how many spaces on the board they'd be worth. They all got involved in the game, even our difficult one so I'm pleased.

More Prak Assault problems during the day though :-( and it's the adults causing grief not the kids. Why do adults sometimes think they're special and don't have to abide by the same rules as everyone else?!?!

Very glad to have received a little more news from my brother & his wife in Napa. He's a wine maker. They had been evacuated but are back at work now appreciating that the AC is removing the smoke from the air. The fires are now blowing away from them... but it's not good news for everyone by any means.
