Every picture tells a story

A bit of a desperation blip today - horrible weather, so a raid of my  jar of beachcombed fragments. Each shard has a story to tell no doubt, strayed somehow from its original dinner set.

A most enjoyable book club meeting last night. if you remember were reading the Cello Suites by Eric Siblin. It had been recommended by one of us who was a musician and she not only played some Bach for us but we were all allowed to have a quick moment too. I'm still reverberating!

A lovely long lunch in Budds today catching up with pals R & F who have been gadding around the country for the last three weeks.

And son#2 and his girl are currently on their way to New Zealand - if you remember she is one of the inaugural cohort of 30 entrepreneurs taking part in the Edmund Hillary fellowship scheme  and the first gathering occurs in a couple of days!  They're just going for 3 weeks at the moment but both have been awarded work visas so this will be very much a recce. Gulp.
