Uzbek treasures

Happy to report the eye is responding to the antibiotics and I have managed to get an appointment in a month with the optician in the hope I'll be referred to get the cataract done which will mean goodbye to the contact lens. This is the second time in 2 years I've had an ulcer so hopefully i can get a permanent solution.

As my eye is improving I don't need to go back to Newcastle till tomorrow, so today got caught up with our washing and the accumulation of mail.

Nathaniel cried when his mum told him we'd not be picking him up from nursery today, and Ella cried because I had a hurty eye.

I bought these ceramics in Uzbekistan for presents but I might keep one!
