sitting on the dock of the bay

This was the view from The Stone House after breakfast this morning, when the weather seemed promising and Sarah set off to do the triptych of South Uist's highest hills.

Sadly the forecast was not very accurate and D and I got very wet on  our own walk up and around the island of Eriskay.

We all enjoyed our days out on the hills, though, and it's always nice to have a warm dry house to come back to in the evening :-)
