Hanging on in there

My hollyhocks are still in flower. They bring back special memories of a hot August day when I visited Charleston in Sussex with my parents and gathered some seeds from the row of tall hollyhocks by the church. Charleston was home to artists of the Bloomsbury group and their paintings fill the little church as well as the house.

A warm but damp day today. I was at work and then at choir practice :-)
