Geyser

It's been a hot and hazy day.  Weatherman said to expect high winds and rain, but neither came.  Stopped by Waikiki and walked along the seawall.
This splash is pretty high as the size of the incoming waves are not unusual.  That's the Natatorium behind it and the lifeguard tower on Kaimana Beach, where the fishing boat is grounded.

The  Coast Guard and private contractors are trying to refloat and remove the Pacific Paradise, a 79-foot longline fishing vessel aground on the reef just a few hundred yards off Kaimana Beach in Waikiki.   Newspaper article with foto here.

Found lots of smallish crabs scattered like rocks along the top of the rock pier jutting out into the water, with waves breaking at the end and rolling down both sides, but couldn't get the focus right.  Will have to try again.

Happy Friday the 13th!
