If you can't beat them...

Homeward Bound

We awoke to a beautiful calm morning.  What a pity we had to be heading back north.  A few quick shots of the marina to ensure whatever happened there would be a blip for the day, then it was into unloading.

Because of where Solace moors we need to trundle everything along the pontoon in little trollies.  End of holiday report filled in for the maintenance guys, log written up etc and we were off.

Being off didn't last for long as we always stop at the farm shop at the end of the lane.  Suitably stocked up with goodies we set the satnav to avoid motorways!  On the way down we noticed road works on the north bound side which was causing stop start motoring.  So we avoided the motorway for the first part which actually made the trip more interesting.

By mid afternoon we were home.
