Flower head

Today's back-blip (still playing catch-up from our summer holiday) is a flower head still in bloom. The surface is curving and with a very shallow depth of field the result is that the picture naturally goes out of focus very quickly as you move away from the centre.

The job hunting has been making progress, looks like I've got a formal offer on the table - from an informal one of a few days ago. Nothing is perfect, but it's probably the best deal I'm going to get in the short term, so we shall see where it leads.
